Manaslu region is located in the western part of Nepal and Mt. Manaslu at [8163m] is the eighth highest peaks in the world. The Manaslu region was opened for trekking only in 1992 AD. The Manaslu region is located near to the border of Nepal alongside Tibet. The name Manaslu means "The spirit-mountain". The local jargon refers it to be the compassionate and strong deity that mysteriously dwells within its domain. Manaslu is a well-known and much loved trekking trail in Nepal’s Himalayan landscapes. Manaslu trek offers great views of some of the highest mountains in the world. Furthermore, Manaslu offers cultural heritage, a genuine outing in the outback, incomparable beauty and biological varieties that’s amazing. It also takes you to as high as up to 5135 meters to Larkey Pass, that gives you a 360 degree panoramic views of several majestic mountains during your course of trail.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel

Day 02 : Free day in Kathmandu, explore the city on your own (or we can arrange guide & the car to look around).

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Arkhet (7.30 hrs drive) & walk up to Sotikhola [710m]

We will begin the trek by driving from Kathmandu to Soti Khola which lies at altitude of 710m. It will be a long but a scenic and rewarding Jeep ride, half of the road is dirt road and little bumpy too. We will reach Arkhet passing ARughat Bazar by jeep drive and walk up to Soti Khola via Dhading Besi. It will take us around 7-8 hours drive & at least 2 hours of walking up to Soti Khola for the night.

Day 04: Soti Khola - Maccha Khola [900m]: 6 - 7 hours

Today we will begin the trek by crossing a beautiful river and trekking up through dense Sal forests. We will climb a exciting ridge over the Budhi Gandaki river. Once we reach Khursane, the trial becomes rocky and steeper. We can see two beautiful waterfalls on our way. After walking along the terraced farmlands, we will reach the Gurung Village of Labu Besi. It is a beautiful Gurung settlement. After trekking through the rocky trail, climbing a ridge, walking along the bank of rivers and crossing a high suspension bridge we finally reach the small settlement of Machha Khola. We will stay the night in a local inn.

Day 05: Maccha Khola -Jagat [1410m): 6 - 7 hrs

We will trek through the narrow trial, sometimes uphill and sometimes downhill to reach Tharo Khola. After crossing it, we will reach Khorla Besi. After trekking for some more time, we will reach Tato Pani, a natural hot spring. We can take a bath here. After climbing a ridge and crossing the beautiful Budi Gandaki on a suspension bridge to reach a junction. From there we will climb up a stone staircase and a ridge to reach the town of Dobhan. We will once more cross the suspension bridge over the Yaru Khola and then climb stone staircase named Tharo Bharyang, which means steep staircase. After crossing the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki, we will climb over a ridge, trek for some time along the banks and reach the village of Jagat, where we will be spending the night.

Day 06: Trek from Jagat to Philim (1700m.) 3 hrs

The trek is relatively simple and relaxing today. We will trek uphill to Philim, a beautiful village inhibited by the Gurung People. We can see lots of ancient monasteries, Chortens and prayer flags decorating this small village. We will stay the night here.

Day 07: Trek from Philim to Deng (2095m.) 5-6 hrs

Trek over a flat leveled path mostly through forest of pine, rhododendron and others. While walking, you cross a few bridges and can see villages at a far distance. A few houses are seen at Deng, you can enjoy a pretty waterfall lying at some distance. Deng is famous for its potatoes, buck wheat, barley, wheat, cabbage, spinach as people are mostly involved in agriculture in this area.

Day 08: Trek Deng to Namrung (2900m.): 6-7 hrs

The trek today will begin with a relaxing walk on a flat land for some time and then the trial will eventually start to get uphill until we reach Namrung. We will cross forests today on our way to Namrung. Once we reach there, we will be gratified with spectacular view of the Manaslu, rocky hills, the green valley and ridges below us. It is a small Buddhist village where we can later go for exploration of Monasteries and Chortens, Hydro Electricity Power House among others.

Day 09: Trek Namrung to Lho gaon (3100m.) 3.30 hrs

We will trek uphill through the inner Himalayans. On the way, we will be constantly rewarded with beautiful view of the mountains like Manaslu, Dwijen, Gorkha and Saula Himal. We can also view the Rupi Nala Pass. The vegetation now starts to get parser. We will trek along this windy trial for some time before reaching Lho Gaon and Lihi Gaon, two small Buddhist villages influenced by Tibetan culture. We can visit the local monasteries and schools run by Buddhist monks.

Day 10: Trek Lhogaon to Samagaon (3390m.) 3 hrs

Today we will walk along the banks of the river with the view of Peak 29 keeping us company. After walking uphill the rocky trail for some time we will reach Sama Gaon where we will spend the night.

Day 11: Rest at Samagaon: for acclimatization.

Today we have allocated a day for acclimatization and exploration of Sama Gaon. We can hike to the Manaslu Base Camp from where we can get mind blowing view of Manaslu, Nagdi Chuli, Manaslu icefall and glacier among others.

Day 12: Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3690m.) 4 hrs

We will trek slowly all the way to Samdo from Sama Gaon today through a dry and albeit rocky terrain. The Tibetan border is only 4 k.ms away from Samdo. However, it is restricted to cross the border. We can visit the Tibetan refugee village here at Samdo.

Day 13: Trek from Samdo to Larkya La Phedi (4460m.) 2.30 hrs

The trail today will be rocky and winding all the way before reaching our destination. We can visit the local market Larkya Bazaar on our way before we reach La Phedi (also known as Dharamshala) our destination for today.

Day 14: Trek from Larkya La Phedi to Larkya La (Pass) (5135m.) to Bimthang. (3590m.) 9 hrs

We will begin the trek early in the morning today on an uphill trial until we reach Larkya La walking through the rocky path. On reaching the top, we can have magnificent view of the Larkya Peak, Manaslu, Ratna Chuli among others. After crossing the path, we have to go downhill for some time. On our way we can see many ice lakes. We will rest for the day after reaching Bimanthang, a broad valley with lots of deserted houses.

Day 15: Trek from Bimthang to Dharapani (1860m.) 7-7.30 hrs

We will walk down the high pastures and then descend down the valley of Burdin Khola to reach the Base Camp from the west side. We can once again have the beautiful view of the splendid mountains from the ridge at altitude of 4,150m.

Day 16: Trek from Dharapani to Jagat (1800m) 6-7 hrs

Today, we will descend down the trial along the banks of the milky white Dudh Khola and then Marshyangdi river. We will walk through beautiful settlements like Taal, and view the beautiful waterfalls.

Day 17: Trek from Jagat to Bhulbhule. 5-6 hrs

Today we will trek downhill along the steep trial from Jagat through the Marshyangdi valley. We will cross the Marshyangdi river at a place called Syange and then walk along the Ghermu Path. The path is relatively flatland today making the trek easier and relazing. A steep trail descends from Jagat through Marshyangdi valley. You cross Marshyangdi River at Syange and walk through Ghermu Path (Ghermu field). This part of the trek is pleasant through a flat leveled path with views of green valleys and villages at some distance.

Day 18: Bhulbhule to Kathmandu (Driving)

We will catch local bus or jeep from Bhulbhule to Besisahar (45 minutes) & by our private transportation to Kathmandu (6 hrs). Check in at hotel.

Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu

Day 20: Departure, transfer to airport.
