The Everest High Passes Trek lets you cross three high passes in Everest region Renjo La ,Cho La & Kongma La Pass, it is one of the most exciting treks that offers you the best views of the mountains and glaciers. Walk is challenging in some part like icy trails, high passes but it will erase all the fatigue once you see the 360 degree panoramic views of majestic mountains that comes on your way.
The Everest High Passes Trek takes you to Everest Base Camp, a very close view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Ama Dablam and may more. Enjoy the unique taste of nature and culture of Everest region as you walk along the remote landscapes with impressive views of mountains and vibrant villages. Apart from the high passes it also takes you to 3 high peaks which are above 5000 meters, Gokyo Ri (5330 mt), Kalapatthar ( 5630 mt) & to Chukkung Ri (5550 mt), also to Devine & Serene, Gokyo lake.

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Over night at hotel.

Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu. Option: Kathmandu Valley tour.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/3 hours)

Morning transfer to the airport for Lukla flight. The flight to Lukla is a lifetime experience in itself. The airfield is at high evaluation and the difference between the two ends of the runway is about an exceptional 60 meters only. Trek to Phakding with an arresting, green landscape with the view of Kusum Kangraru. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 6 hours

We follow the Dudh Koshi, ascending through Himalayan pine and cedar forests, to the celebrated village of Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat and textiles. Besides being a splendid destination to shop for traditional crafts, Namche remains the central trading post in the Khumbu that attracts Himalayan and lowland merchants. You will spend two days at Namche for acclimatization, visit local markets and spend time with your team. On the hike we capture our first glimpses of Everest and neighboring peaks. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazar.

This day is especially sectioned for acclimatization. We will hike to Syangboche Airport (3700m), supposed to be the highest airport in the world, then continue climbing to Everest View Hotel for great panoramic views of the Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache etc. On the way back, we visit Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery. Overnight at the same lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Thame (3750 m/ 4 hours)

The trail leads to the old village called Thamo which is easy walk through the valley. Thamo is a small Sherpa village. After exploring the village, the trail further goes and we stop at Thame. We take lunch here and enough time to explore the Sherpa village and its culture. There is small Hydro power where you can visit. Stay overnight at the Lodge.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day in Thame.

We take another rest day as an acclimatization day exploring around the valley. This day is used as an extra day before crossing the 1st pass of the trial, Renjo La. Visit to monastery or Tashi Lapcha Tal it might take 5-6 hours or around, we need to take packed lunch if we decide to go to Tashi Lapcha lake. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 08: Trek to Lungden (4500 m/ 5-6 hours)

An easy walk to Marlung through the Bhote Koshi River where you can have short break. Then the trail leads uphill to Lungden through dry valley. It is an interesting walking enjoying the views of the snow peaked mountains and the valley. Today you won’t see Sherpa village because Thame is the last village of the valley. Once you get in to the village, hike a bit higher than the place where lodge is located to get acclimatize. Stay overnight at the Lodge.

Day 09 Trek to Gokyo (4800 m) crossing Ranjo la Pass (5415m) 7-8 hours

The trail leads uphill for an hour and half and then easy walk for a while. At the end, there is hard climb to get to the top of the Renjo La from where you will have an awesome view of Mt. Everest with Mt.Nuptse with surrounding peaks. You will also see Gokyo lake which breathtaking views. From the top of the Renjo La the trail drops down to the Third Lake (Gokya lake) and get in to the lodge. Stay overnight at Gokyo lodge.

Day 10: Hike to Gokyo RI (5,330m) and trek down to Thaknak (4750m) 6-7 hrs

We hike up to Gokyo Ri in the morning for the breathtaking view of sunrise top of the mountain including Mt. Everest view and many more Himalayan scenery. The view of Everest from Gokyo Ri is considered the best in entire Everest region. We, sure have a great memories and stroll back an hour's to Gokyo for breakfast. We trek down to Thaknak for the overnight passing through the second lake and walk on the glacier. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 11: Cross Cho-la Pass (5367m ) & to Dzongla (4,850m), 7-8 hrs

Today is considered the toughest one to cross the Cho-la because of thee high pass. The pass is not difficult but it is steep and involves a glacier traverse on the eastern side. After crossing the Cho-la we reach at Dzongla for overnight. Enjoy the fantastic view around the high above. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 12:Trek to Lobuche (4900m) 2-3 hrs

After hot breakfast at the lodge, an easy downhill for a while and few up and down to the Lobuche. Today we prefer to have a short walk because of the elevation tht we will again gain thinking of not having a high altitude sickness. After refreshment, look around Everest glacier and over night at the lodge.

Day 13:Trek to Gorakshep-Kalapatthar - Gorakhshep (5,160m, 5-6 hours)

Then the trail leads toward Gorekshep through the rocky trail. On the way you will have great views of the Mt. Everest,Mt. Nuptse,Mt. Pumori and more. You will be able to see Khumbu Glacier on the way. After few up downs, you will reach at Gorekshep which is located at the bottom of Kalapatthar. We go to Kalapatthar which is 2 hour hike up to the Kalapatthar, the greatest view point of the Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori , Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Thamerserku, Mera Peak and many more. After taking many photographs, trek down to the lodge at Gorekshep again for the night.

Day 14: Trek to Lobuche (2.30 hrs.)

We walk down to Lobuche. Again a short walk today as we prepare for the final pass for the following day. Relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 15:Trek to Chukung via Kongma la pass (5,530m/ 7-8 hours)

After breakfast at the lodge, your day will start walking through Khumbu glacier towards east. After crossing the glacier and river the trail leads up to the pass which is the highest pass of this trip. There will be no tea shop and water resource so that you will have to carry few bottles of water to drink. While on the summit of the pass, the amazing 360 vies of the majestic mountains will fascinate you. Now, the trail drops steep down to the Chukung valley where your day ends. Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 16: Climb Chukkung Ri (5550 m) and night at Dingboche (4410 m) 5-6 hours

After breakfast we will climb Chukkung ri. This classic vantage point is superb for viewing Lhotse, Makalu, Island Peak, Amadablam and the high himal. We’ll return to Chukkung and have lunch and pack our bags further destinations to Dingboche for the night.

Day 17: Trek to Tengboche (3,867m 4-5 hours)

Today is an easy day which is downhill through the valley. The valley gets change through few Sherpa villages. After Pangboche village the trail drops down to the river and cross the bridge. After that the trail leads up to the Tengboche where the oldest Monastery situated on the top of the hill. Evening visit Monastery, see the Buddhist chanting ceremony and overnight at the lodge.

Day 18: Trek to Monjo ((2680M/8791ft), 5-6 hrs

After breakfast treks down to Phunkethanga a small settlement with couple of teahouses. From here the trail leads downhill through the forested path with great memories and after crossing the local wooden bridge over the Dudh Koshi river trek onwards to steep climb to Sanasa to Namche bazzar and trek further down to Monjo for overnight stay.

Day 19: Trek to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft), 5-6 hrs

After breakfast we trek back with enjoying the lush green scenery around and passing through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village. And finally today the trail leads you back to Lukla. After your arrival in Lukla you will have time to relax and celebrate the completion of your trek.

Day 20: fly to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel

Day 21: Free day in Kathmandu. Hotel

Day 22: Final departure, transfer to airport.
